Hey everyone.

I'm Pat Lewis aka underscore.

In early 2020, I started making collages on canvases after doodling most of my life. Starting from a 24-pack of Primsacolors, my art now ranges from simple acrylic canvases to cartoon collages to epoxied molds. Within the collages, you can find various pop culture references/combinations and medium variations. “What is that from?” or "is that from ( _ )?" are some of my personal favorite reactions. I also hide my logo ( _ ) in majority of the pieces similar to hidden picture books. After several years of creating, I adopted the mantra “find it” not only as a personal statement but also instructional - find ( _ ). After moving to Nashville from Atlanta, I joined local art collective The Art Party as well as starting my own free event “Drink-n-Doodle” to encourage others to start or continue their art journey.
